WWII U.S. Paratrooper M1936 Musette Bag (1942)
This is an original WWII U.S. M1936 musette bag, commonly utilized by paratroopers and officers. It was manufactured in 1942 by Atlantic Products Corp. Twice-stamped near the manufacturer's marking is the original owner's laundry number, "F-4733". It appears to have once been anti-gas impregnated, as it has become somewhat stiff. Unfortunately, one of the front straps is missing its brass end-keeper. This musette bag would display quite nicely when completed with a belt and suspenders.
