This is an original WWII U.S. M37 wool service shirt. This is the enlisted man's version, without epaulettes. Its size marking is faded, but appears to read 15 x 32. Unfortunately, its manufacturer's tag has been removed. Interestingly, there is also evidence of a “Ruptured Duck” patch being stitched above the wearer’s right chest pocket.
