This original WWII U.S. "overseas" duffel bag is identified to Captain Harold J. Rafn, serial number O-502765. Unfortunately, officer records are not readily available, however services like Golden Arrow Research have special access should the new owner decide to pursue that opportunity. Otherwise, perhaps researching the Greenleaf, Kansas connection may prove fruitful. It was manufactured by General Shoe Corp. in 1944. The OD#7 (green) material is in good condition. These bags display really well when filled and placed in the corner of a collection room.
