WWII U.S. Camouflage "Shrimp" Helmet Net
This original WWII U.S. manufactured camouflage helmet net was cut from a larger piece of vehicle netting. It is the "shrimp" style, with finely woven rectangular shaped holes. These nets became quite common throughout the European Theater, begining in the fall of 1944. The M1 helmet shown is just for display purposes and is not included.
