WWII U.S. Army Air Corps/Force Officer's Service Cap (Size 7+)
This is an original WWII U.S. Army Air Corps/Force officer's service cap. It is constructed of "chocolate" brown gabardine wool, and features a russet brown leather brim and chinstrap. The front is decorated with the brass "large eagle" insignia, as used by U.S. Army officers. The leather headband bears the "E-Z Cushion" and "Aniline Finish" marketing. Its size tag appears to be only partially present, so it is almost certainly larger than a size 7. Its original wire stiffener remains intact.
