WWII Photograph of U.S. Paratrooper
This is an original WWII photograph of a U.S. paratrooper, printed on cardstock. Its dimensions are 3 1/2" x 5 1/8". The level of detail within the image is quite uncommon. For example, we can see the subject is wearing a stenciled M42 jump jacket with items in the chest pocket, a scrap of camouflage parachute material as a scarf, a standard infantry M1 fixed loop helmet with camouflage netting, and most interesting of all - an exceedingly rare St. Clair manufactured paratrooper helmet liner with nickel-plated female snaps and either cut or tucked-upward A-yokes. The new owner will receive the exact physical photograph shown in the listing - the only one of which is known to exist.
