This is an original WWII M1936 musette bag, commonly utilized by paratroopers and officers. It was produced in 1942 by The Langdon Tent & Awning Co. It appears to have once been anti-gas impregnated as it has become somewhat stiff. The side compartment's button has unfortunately pulled away. This musette bag would display quite nicely when completed with a belt and suspenders.
