This is an original WWII German manufactured M42 helmet set. Its original factory textured feldgrau paint finish is in great condition. The inside brim is size stamped EF64 along with the faintly-stamped lot number of 0996, denoting mid-1943 production by the Emaillierwerke A.G., Fulda factory. The interior retains its original pigskin variation leather liner and chinstrap. The size 57 liner is in excellent condition. The chinstrap remains its original full-length, however it does not appear to have a manufacturer's marking. The helmet's split pins and washers are all original and show no signs of tampering.
