WWII German M40 66/59 Helmet Liner & Chinstrap (1940)
This is an original WWII German M1931 helmet liner and chinstrap system. The leather liner is a size 59; to be paired with a size 66 helmet shell. Its zinc band showcases a 1940 production stamp by Schuberth Werke, K. G. Braunschweig. The partial chinstrap exhibits a gray-painted steel buckle. The leather components have cracked and dried over time, making this an ideal liner system for an M40 helmet in equally rough condition. Split pins sold separately.
