WWII German Deutsches Afrikakorps DAK Heer Double Decal Pith Helmet
This is an original WWII German manufactured Deutsches Afrikakorps pith helmet. It is constructed of a felt-like material, making it a second pattern helmet - produced prior to 1943. The leather lining is stamped with a Wegen manufacturer's mark. The helmet's original Heer and national colors badges are strong and intact. Unfortunately, the helmet has seen better days; it is missing its chinstrap and the leather brim has deteriorated.
