WWII German Canteen
This is an original WWII German canteen. Each component was manufactured by Heinrich Ritter Esslingen in 1942, apart from the cap, which is dated 1943. The felt cover is in excellent condition, however the strap's leather has deteriorated somewhat. This canteen will display quite nicely when installed on an original bread bag or rucksack.
