WWII Fixed Loop McCord M1 Helmet Shell (November 1942)

This original WWII U.S. McCord manufactured fixed loop M1 helmet shell is in great, field-used condition. The heat stamp of 345D dates the helmet's production to November 1942. It retains its original factory paint, cork texture, and khaki chinstrap. The chinstrap features a flat brass buckle. The helmet's fixed loops are strong and intact. This helmet would pair very nicely with a high pressure helmet liner with non-painted steel A-washers.
