WWII 1/4" British Camouflage Helmet Net
This is an original WWII British manufactured 1/4 inch camouflage helmet net. It is constructed of either brown or OD#7 (green) material that appears to have been treated with a mildew preventative, which has darkened the material. In the days leading up to the D-Day Invasion, American troops often procured British and Canadian nets for their own M1 helmets. This net is in heavily-used condition. It fits quite tightly on a helmet and many of the squares have been enlarged. The M1 helmet shown is just for display purposes and is not included.
