New-Old-Stock Late-WWII U.S. M1 Helmet Liner Headband (1945)
This listing is for a single original late-WWII U.S. headband, however five are available - three of which were manufactured by Hugo Bosca Co. and two by Yale Suspender & Belt Co. All are 1945-dated. These headbands are all in unissued condition. Their leather remains soft and pliable. They exhibit green painted steel clips and blackened brass buckles - a combination introduced on November 5, 1943 and utilized until the end of the war. These would be ideal headbands for helmet liners with blackened brass A-washers.
