This original U.S. WWII helmet set is in excellent condition. The Schlueter manufactured rear seam swivel loop helmet shell's heat stamp of 490A dates its production to 1945. It retains its original olive drab factory paint, cork texture, and OD#7 chinstraps. The straps exhibit steel hardware. The Mine Safety Appliances manufactured helmet liner features blackened brass A-washers, dating its production from mid-1944 to 1945. The liner comes complete with its original headband, neckband, and blackened brass buckled leather liner strap.
