Late-WWII U.S. Inland/Firestone M1 Helmet Liner (1944-45)
This is an original U.S. WWII Inland/Firestone manufactured M1 helmet liner. The original factory finish is in exceptional condition. It features blackened brass A-washers, which date its production from mid-1944 to 1945. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. It has recently been completed with a very rare 1945-dated S.H. Co. headband and George Frost Co. neckband. This liner would be an ideal match for a swivel loop helmet shell.
