Late-WWII Swivel Loop McCord M1 Helmet Shell (September 1944)
This original WWII U.S. McCord manufactured swivel loop M1 helmet shell is in combat-used condition. The heat stamp of 10_4D dates the helmet's production to September 1944. It retains its original field repaint, cork texture, and khaki chinstrap. The chinstrap features brass hardware. This helmet would pair very nicely with a high pressure helmet liner with blackened brass A-washers.
