This is an original U.S. WWII Seaman Paper Co. manufactured M1 helmet liner. Stenciled atop the liner's factory finish is an original set of sergeant's stripes. The liner features blackened brass A-washers, which date its production from mid-1944 to 1945. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. It comes complete with its original Scholl Manufacturing Co. headband, Comfort Slipper Corp. neckband, and black-buckled leather liner strap with United Carr rivets. All of the accessories, like the liner itself, date to 1945.
