This is an original WWII German manufactured M42 double decal combat polizei helmet set. The inside brim is size stamped EF66, lot number 15196, denoting 1943 production by the Emaillierwerke A.G., Fulda factory. Interestingly, Brian Ice's German Helmet Lot Numbers 1935-1945 identifies this piece as being a rare side marked block script EF helmet. Atop the original slate grey textured finish are its well-worn party and polizei decals. There is some hardened residue near the front of the helmet. The interior retains its original size 58 leather liner and damaged chinstrap. The helmet's split pins and washers are all original and show no signs of tampering.
