This is an original late-WWII German manufactured M42 helmet set. Its original slate-grey textured factory finish is in excellent condition. This helmet would have left the factory after the cessation of decal application, however its sides appear to have the faint remnants of a set of decals, which is out of character for a helmet produced this late in the war. The inside brim is size stamped EF68 along with the lot number of 5205, denoting mid-1944 production by the Emaillierwerke A.G., Fulda factory. The interior retains its original leather liner and partial chinstrap. The helmet is unfortunately missing one of its three split pins and washers, however the two that remain are both original and show no signs of tampering.
