This is an original late-WWII German manufactured M42 helmet set. It exhibits a rather striking, textured field repaint. Beneath the repaint, on the wearer's left side is an apparent decal - likely that of the Heer. Unfortunately, the textured finish has concealed the interior brim's factory, size, and lot number stampings. That said, the helmet has been measured and is a confirmed size 64. The interior is quite rusty, but it retains its original pigskin leather liner and partial chinstrap. The original split pins and washers are intact and show no signs of tampering.
