This is an original early-WWII rayon neckband. These were issued in three different sizes during the war: 3, 4, and 5. This example's markings have since faded, however we've shown it alongside a confirmed size medium (not included) and it is just slightly larger, making it a size 5. It features blackened brass United Carr snaps. This would be an ideal neckband for all helmet liners with rayon suspensions - including Hawleys.
