This is an original and faintly stamped Johnson & Johnson manufactured WWII headband. It features the 'double wire' buckle variation, dating the headband's production from early-1942 to mid-1942. The slightly sweat-stained leather remains quite soft and pliable. This would be an ideal headband for all helmet liners with non-painted steel A-washers (including Hawleys and low-pressure liners).
