This is an original and complete WWII German M34 double decal Feuerschutzpolizei helmet set, with the seldom-seen protective spine. Constructed of aluminum, this is the early-war model with the "square-dip" brim and dual "salt and pepper shaker" style vent holes. Its original black factory finish is good condition. The helmet's sides are adorned with its original National Socialist Party decal and police decal. The helmet's interior brim is stamped "Vorschrfts m., Leichtmetall PD., n. M. d. J.", which roughly translates to "precisely light metal". The interior comes complete with its original size 55 leather liner and chinstrap. The liner's cork spacers are square, denoting war-time installation. The helmet's split pins and washers are all original and show no signs of tampering.
