Early-WWII German M35 Heer Infantry Feldwebel’s Waffenrock
This is an original small-sized WWII German Wehrmacht M35 Waffenrock parade dress tunic. Constructed of feldgrau gabardine wool, it is in excellent condition, with all of its original pebbled buttons still intact. The original Heer eagle is constructed of a fine silver bullion thread, while the Waffenfarbe (Corps Color) is white, denoting the Infantry. According to the bottle-green collar's Litzen, single pip located on each shoulder board, and silver braided Tresse, we know its original owner held the rank of Feldwebel (Non-Commissioned Officer). Located on the left side of the wearer's chest are horizontal and vertical pairs of threads, that accomodate now-missing campaign ribbon(s) and badge, respectively. The interior exhibits a lightly stained rayon lining, internal chest pocket, and shoulder loops for a coat hanger. Unfortunately, no manufacturer's marking or soldier's identification tag could be located.
