WWII USN Swivel Loop McCord M1 Helmet Shell (February 1944)
This original WWII U.S. McCord manufactured front seam swivel loop M1 helmet shell is in well-used condition. The heat stamp appears to read 801B, which would date the helmet's production to February 1944. It retains its original battleship grey paint, cork texture, and damaged OD#3 (khaki) chinstrap. The helmet's swivel loops are strong and intact. There are a couple stress cracks at the rear. This helmet would pair very nicely with a high pressure helmet liner with green-painted steel A-washers.
