WWII U.S. M1 Helmet Liner Headband (Early-Mid War)
This is an original WWII M1 helmet liner headband, manufactured by the rather rare producer, Humphrey Leather Goods Co. The leather is in good condition. The hardware is green painted steel, dating the headband's production from mid-1942 to late-1943. This would be an ideal headband for a helmet liner with either non-painted or green painted steel A-washers.
