WWII U.S. M1 Helmet Liner Headband (Early-Mid War)
This is an original WWII Jos. N. Eisendrath Co. manufactured headband. It is in new-old-stock, unissued condition. The leather remains soft and pliable. The hardware is green painted steel, dating the headband's production from mid-1942 to late-1943. This would be an ideal headband for a helmet liner with either non-painted or green painted steel A-washers.
