WWII U.S. M1 Helmet Liner Headband (Early-Mid War)
This is an original WWII M1 helmet liner headband, manufactured by The Jos. N. Eisendrath Co. The leather is in good condition, albeit a little stiff. The rusty hardware is green painted steel, dating the headband's production from mid-1942 to late-1943. This would be an ideal headband for a helmet liner with either non-painted or green painted steel A-washers.
