WWII U.S. Leather Liner Strap With Black Brass Buckle
This listing is for a single original late-WWII U.S. leather liner strap, however a few are available. These straps are all in good, used condition. The leather remains soft and supple. The "H" ink stampings denote production by Hagerstown Leather Co. - the black "H" within the circle is likely the older variation of the two markings, as it's also commonly seen on earlier straps. These all feature blackened brass buckles as well as United Carr branded blackened brass rivets. The reverse of the buckles exhibit the patent number of 2363872, dating the straps' production to November 28, 1944. These would be ideal straps for helmet liners with blackened brass A-washers.
