WWII U.S. Jan Products Co. "Wind-Proof" Black Crackle Finish Lighter
This original WWII "Wind-Proof" lighter was produced by Jan Products Co. in New York City. Its orginal black painted crackle finish is in good condition. Interestingly, the steel case is quite substantial and feels better in the hand than Zippo lighters. The insert may be a replacement from the same period, as it rattles a little inside the case. The flint is intact and produces a spark - simply add lighter fluid!
