WWII U.S. Berkeley "Windproof" Black Crackle Finish Lighter W/ Box
This original WWII Berkeley "Windproof" lighter was produced by the Flashlight Company of America in Jersey City, New Jersey. If you're familiar with Henry-Paul Enjames' GI Collector's Guide: U.S. Army European Theater of Operations you may have seen this particular type of lighter (and its cardstock box) featured on the cover. Its orginal black painted crackle finish is in excellent condition. It comes with its original cardstock box, which is unfortunately missing its top flap. This lighter will require a flint and fluid to function.
