This original WWII Berkeley "Windproof" lighter was produced by the Flashlight Company of America in Jersey City, New Jersey. If you're familiar with Henry-Paul Enjames' GI Collector's Guide: U.S. Army European Theater of Operations you may have seen this particular type of lighter featured on the cover. Its original black painted crackle finish is in good condition. This lighter will require a flint and fluid to function.
