This is an original early-WWII Seaman Paper Co. manufactured M1 helmet liner. The exterior retains its original olive drab factory paint finish. It features non-painted steel A-washers, dating the liner's production from mid-1942 to mid-1943. The Johnson & Johnson manufactured khaki suspension is strong and intact. The name "Mason" is marked on the suspension, along with a lesser legible ID on the interior body of the liner. This helmet liner would display very nicely with the addition of early war accessories.
