WWII U.S. Presidential Unit Citation Ribbon
This is an original WWII Presidential Unit Citation. These were introduced following the December 7, 1941 surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, and were to be awarded to allied units who showed extraordinary heroism in action against the enemy. This variation has a transparent plastic protector over the blue ribbon material. The reverse still retains the two prong catch, and is marked "Los Angeles".
