WWII M1 Helmet Liner Headband (Mid-Late War)
This original WWII helmet liner headband was manufactured by the Yale Suspenders & Belt Co. It exhibits green painted steel clips and a blackened brass buckle, a combination introduced on November 5, 1943 and utilized until the end of the war. The headband's leather is in excellent condition. This would be an ideal headband for a high-pressure helmet liner with either green painted steel or blackened brass A-washers.
