WWII M1 Helmet Liner Headband (Early-Mid War)

WWII M1 Helmet Liner Headband (Early-Mid War)

This original WWII helmet liner headband was manufactured by Paul K. Weil Co. The leather has darkened somewhat from use, but remains quite soft and pliable. The hardware is green painted steel, dating the headband's production from mid-1942 to late-1943. This would be an ideal headband for a helmet liner with either non-painted or green painted steel A-washers.
