This is an original WWII M1 Garand cartridge belt. It was manufactured in 1942 by Burlington Mills, Inc. The laundry number, "Y-2006", is twice written on the belt's reverse. It is in excellent condition and would be a perfect addition to a WWII rifleman's display.
