This original WWII U.S. McCord manufactured fixed loop M1 helmet shell is in great, field-used condition. The helmet's front showcases remnants of a welded Lieutenant's bar. The heat stamp of 281B dates the helmet's production to September 1942. It retains its original factory paint, cork texture, and khaki chinstrap. The chinstrap features brass hardware, with a "raised-bar" buckle. The helmet's fixed loops are strong and intact. This helmet would pair very nicely with a high pressure helmet liner with non-painted steel A-washers.
