This original WWII leather liner strap has undergone multiple installation attempts without success. The leather has shrunk over time, making it difficult to fit over a liner's brim. There are no guarantees that this strap will fit your liner. Because of this, it is sold 'as is' at a 50% price reduction. The green painted steel buckle exhibits a slight curve, dating the strap's production from late-1942 to mid-1943. It features non-marked green painted steel rivets. This would be an ideal strap for all helmet liners with non-painted steel A-washers (including Hawleys and low-pressure liners).
