WWII Leather Liner Strap With Green Steel Buckle
This is an original WWII leather liner strap. The leather is still quite soft and supple, however it has conformed to the shape of a helmet's brim. It features a curved buckle and non-marked rivets, both in green painted steel. These characteristics date the strap's production to mid-1943. This would be an ideal strap for a helmet liner with green painted steel A-washers.
