This is an original early-WWII Hawley manufactured, named helmet liner. It features non-painted steel A-washers and folded ends on the neck support, dating the liner's production to mid-1942. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. The liner comes complete with its original double wire headband and a recently installed khaki neckband. The headband's leather is dry and cracking. The body of the liner is somewhat misshapen and exhibits damage throughout, however it can still be displayed inside a helmet shell without issue.
