This original WWII German manufactured M40 Luftwaffe helmet would be an ideal project for the collector with the missing components. The inside brim is size stamped SE64 along with the lot number of 0091, denoting early-1940 production by the Sachsichse Emaillierwerke, Lauter factory. The helmet showcases its original feldblau factory paint finish, while the wearer's left side is adorned with an original Luftwaffe decal. The interior retains its original liner band, although its leather and chinstrap are unfortunately missing. The helmet's split pins and washers are all original and show no signs of tampering.
