This is an original and complete WWII German single decal Luftwaffe M40 helmet set. It is in combat-used condition. The helmet's original feldblau finish shows consistent wear throughout. The helmet's interior brim is size stamped hkp64, along with the lot number of 914, denoting 1941 production by the Sachsichse Emaillierwerke, Lauter factory. The helmet's interior retains its original size 56 leather liner, drawstring, and chinstrap. The leather liner is inscribed with the rank and name of it's original owner, "Obergefreiter Gwosdz". The helmet's split pins and washers are all original and show no signs of tampering.
