WWII German M40, M42 Helmet Liner Chinstrap Set
This is an original WWII German matching helmet liner chinstrap set. The leather is somewhat dry, but remains pliable. There does not appear to be a manufacturer's marking since the longer piece has been shortened to just eight adjustment holes. The shorter strap's stitching is strong and intact. It exhibits a grey-painted steel buckle and retaining studs, making it ideal for either an M40 or M42 helmet.
