This is an original and complete WWII German single decal Luftwaffe M40 helmet set. It is in combat-used condition. The helmet's original feldblau finish shows consistent wear throughout. The helmet's interior brim is size stamped ET62, along with the lot number of 320, denoting late-1940 production by the Eisenhüttenwerke, Thale factory. The helmet's interior retains its original leather liner, drawstring, and 1940-dated G. Schiele, Loburg manufactured chinstrap. The leather liner is inscribed with its original owner's initials, "A.S.H." Unfortunately, the chinstrap is damaged. The helmet's split pins and washers are all original and show no signs of tampering.
