This is an original WWII German Karl Heisler manufactured M38 fallschirmjäger helmet liner system. The leather liner is a size 55, to be paired with a size 66 helmet shell. Its aluminum band is bent throughout and the leather is in very fragile condition. Due to its deteriorating state, there are no guarantees against further damage that may occur during shipping. The liner comes complete with its original black Buna-S fabric-coated foam, which is in good condition. This liner system is a 'must have' for any size 66 M38 restoration project.
