WWII German Deutsches Afrika Korps (DAK) Canteen, Cup, & Cover (1942)
This original WWII German manufactured canteen set bares a "tropical" canvas strap - common among the Deutsches Akrika Korps (DAK). The canteen, itself, is an aluminum version manufactured by C. & C. W. in 1942. The felt cover is in good condition, but does have two small holes. Its closure snaps remain intact and functional. The canteen retains its original black bakelite cup. This canteen set will display quite nicely when installed on an original bread bag or rucksack.
