This is an original and complete early WWII M1 helmet set. The McCord manufactured front seam fixed loop M1 helmet shell's heat stamp of 252C dates the helmet's production to August 1942. It retains its original olive drab factory paint, cork texture, and brass-buckled khaki chinstrap. The original early-WWII St. Clair low pressure M1 helmet liner features non-painted steel A-washers and a khaki suspension, which date the liner's production from late-1942 to early-1943. The liner comes complete with its original double-wire headband, neckband, and flat-buckled leather liner strap. Like the rest of the helmet, the liner's original textured factory finish is in superb condition.
