WWII 8th Army Air Corps "Blue Moon" M1936 Musette Bag & General Purpose Strap
This original WWII M1936 musette bag is inscribed with D. "Red" Williams in combination with "Blue Moon" and an 8th Air Corps marking. Unfortunately, I have had no success in determining the markings' significance, but I think "Blue Moon" may be an aircraft's name. The bottom of the musette bag is torn and the prior owner, who had been using the bag as a library book bag, attempted a repair with duct tape. It comes complete with its original 1941 dated general purpose strap.
